Annapolis REMO - Advisory Committee meeting

Under Section 10(1)(d) of the Nova Scotia Emergency Management Act, municipalities are required to “appoint a committee consisting of members of the municipal council to advise it on the development of emergency management plans”.

The Annapolis REMO Regional Emergency Management Advisory Committee (REMAC) consists of the Mayors/Wardens and elected officials from all municipal units (County of Annapolis, Town of Annapolis Royal and Town of Middleton). This group advises their councils on REMO activities and functions within the Emergency Coordination Centre (ECC) and approves emergency response plans.

Anyone wishing to attend must please register with the Regional Emergency Management Coordinator borde@annapoliscounty.ca ,no later than Friday, September 22, 2022 at 4:00pm
