June 9, 3:00pm - Annapolis Voices presents "Then we Burst Forth" (St. George & St. Andrew United Baptist Church [393 St. George St.,  Annapolis Royal]) -  A concert built around the theme of overcoming. Featuring "Toward the Unknown Region" written by Ralph Vaughn William. It has been newly arranged by our own Phil Roberts. The text is a poem by Walt Whitman. June 14-18 - Dugua de Mons Day - (Lower Granville Community Hall [3551 Granville Rd., Port Royal]) - Pierre Dugua de Mons Day was established in 2023 to celebrate the merchant-explorer who played a major role in the first successful site of French presence in North America and in establishing a lasting friendship with the Mi’kmaq.
Events: 5-day art exhibit, The Life & Times of Dugua de Mons presentation, and Meet the Governor (Dugua de Mons) at Port-Royal Habitation. Click here for event details.
