Applications and Amendments Under Consideration

1. Redesignating & Rezoning 148/150 South Street, Carleton Corner (PID 05145651) 

TAKE NOTICE that an application to amend the Future Land Use Map and Zoning Map for 148/150 South Street, Carleton Corner, has been submitted to the Municipality of the County of Annapolis. The application will redesignate the area of the property where it is currently designated as Mixed Use to Residential, and rezone the same area from Mixed Use (MX) zone to Multi-unit Residential (R2) zone. The applicant intends to convert the basement of 150 South Street to add two additional dwelling units.

A Public Information Meeting (PIM) will be held at the Council Chamber of the municipal office on Tuesday, February 03, 2026 at 2:00 pm. Registration is required to attend the session. The registration will close on Monday, February 02, at 4:00 pm.

2. Cornwallis Park Planning Area Secondary Planning Strategy & Land Use Bylaw Text Amendments Application - 231 Spinnaker Drive, Cornwallis Park (PID 05210745) 

TAKE NOTICE that that the Municipality of the County of Annapolis has received an application to amend the texts of the Cornwallis Park Land Use Bylaw and Secondary Planning Strategy to allow Public Use in the Light Industrial (IND) zone and the Industrial (IND) Designation respectively. This application will enable the conversion of an existing building at 231 Spinnaker Drive (PID 05210745) into a secondary fire station (substation) for the Bear River Volunteer Fire Department.

The proposed amendments will also allow Public Use on all other properties within the Light Industrial (IND) zone and Industrial (IND) Designation of the Cornwallis Park Planning Area.


Two Public Information Meeting (PIM) sessions to inform residents of the Cornwallis Park Planning Area about the application will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Details of the Public Information Meeting can be found below. The intent of the meeting is to present the amendments and receive early responses from the public.

Session 2: 5:00 pm

In the event of a cancellation due to a storm, the PIM will be held on Tuesday, March 03, 2026, at 2pm & 5pm.
