Roads & Sidewalks
Municipal Operations maintains and repairs all municipally owned roads and sidewalks. The majority of the roads within the County are managed directly by the Province of Nova Scotia. The County of Annapolis currently manages primarily residential roads. The list of roads maintained both in summer and winter by the County are:

Sidewalks:
Annapolis County has sidewalks in the following communities. These sidewalks are either asphalt or concrete.
- Bear River
- Granville Ferry
- Paradise
- Cornwallis Park
- Bridgetown
It is the County of Annapolis’ responsibility to maintain these sidewalks, both in repair and winter snow and ice removal.
Winter Maintenance:
Winter maintenance is either carried out by staff, sub-contractor, or by an agreement with the province depending on the area being plowed. Plowing occurs after total accumulation is 5 cm. For questions on winter maintenance in Bridgetown and Cornwallis Park please call us at 902 532-2336.
