The Province of Nova Scotia in partnership with Municipalities and other stakeholders maintains a civic address viewer. This map-like tool allows users to search for civic addresses, view a map of nearby addresses, roads, and property boundaries. You can also use this tool to measure distances and view many structure outlines in relation to the property.

This tool is designed for use with Internet Explorer. Click here to access the viewer: http://nscaf1.nsgc.gov.ns.ca/civicviewer/civic.aspx.

The County of Annapolis also maintains a civic services database. You can use this tool to look up basic services such as which Municipal District an address is located in, can it be services by Municipal sewer or water, and which Fire Department district it resides in. Click here to access this tool: http://www.annapolis.ca/government/civic-services-database.
