County of Annapolis Celebrates Nearly $300,000 in Community Grants

The County of Annapolis is celebrating another strong year of community investment, with a total of $299,838.17 awarded to local organizations through the Community Grants Program.

The use of the funds ranged from facility upgrades to creative community projects, which helped community groups build and enhance healthy and welcoming communities across the County.

“Our communities are full of energy, vision, and local leadership, and these grants help bring that work to life,” said Warden Diane Le Blanc. “Nearly $300,000 in funding this year shows just how committed Annapolis County is to supporting the people and organizations that make our County such a vibrant place to live.”

County staff will host several sessions to help organizations understand the program, prepare strong applications, and ask any questions they may have.

Online Sessions (via TEAMS) will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., and Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. To register, email ablais@annapoliscounty.ca.

In-Person sessions will be held in the Lawrencetown, Cornwallis Park, and Annapolis Royal areas. Dates/locations will be announced soon.

As the County opens applications for the 2026 Community Grants Program, eligible groups are encouraged to begin preparing their submissions ahead of the April 1, 2026, deadline.
