Update on Water Supply – Community of Bridgetown
The County is continuing to monitor uranium levels in the Bridgetown water distribution system. However, the County has been advised that the water remains safe to drink. In accordance with protocols, further samples have been collected and results are anticipated by Monday afternoon.
According to Warden Reg Ritchie, “County staff have been following protocol and will continue to update the public in a timely manner.”
The County will continue to provide updates in this regard and will advise the public immediately through our Web site, social media and media outlets of any changes to the status of the drinking water.
