Recreation Equipment Loan Program

We have equipment available for residents to borrow for short-term loans! This is a great way to try something new, add an activity to your community event, or help somebody get active outdoors.

Summer Equipment

	Canoe/Boat Loans
	Life Jacket A life jacket, also known as a personal flotation device (PFD), is a wearable piece of safety equipment designed to help a person float in the water.
	Standup Paddle Boards Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is a water sport where a person stands on a board and uses a paddle to propel themselves across the water.
	Kayak / Double Kayak Kayaks are characterized by their low-to-the-water profile and the seated position of the paddler, with legs extended forward.

	Walking Poles (nordic and urban) Walking poles can be used to increase walking pace or for better support on your walks/hikes.
	Badminton Set Badminton is a racquet sport played on a rectangular court divided by a net, where two players (singles) or two pairs (doubles) compete by hitting a shuttlecock over the net into the opponent's half of the court. The objective is to score points by landing the shuttlecock within the boundaries of the opponent's side of the court.
	Parachutes It's designed for fun, collaborative play, and even learning about physics concepts like air resistance. Children can hold the handles, move the parachute up and down, and participate in various games.
	Disk Slam / Kan-Jam Disc Slam is a two-on-two flying disc game where players aim to throw a disc at a target, with a teammate attempting to deflect it into the target. It's a competitive game, similar to other outdoor tailgate games, where players score points based on how the disc is thrown and deflected. The game is designed for portability and easy setup, with targets that pop up and fold down for easy transport.

	Disc Golf Disc golf is a flying disc sport where players throw a disc at a target, aiming to complete a course of 9 or 18 holes in the fewest throws, similar to traditional golf. Players start from a tee area and navigate the course, with each throw made from the spot where the previous throw landed, until the disc comes to rest in the target.
	Bocce Ball Bocce ball is a lawn game played with balls, similar to pétanque or lawn bowls, where the goal is to roll larger balls (bocce) closer to a smaller target ball (pallino) than the opposing team. The game is played between two teams, and the team with the most bocce balls closest to the pallino at the end of a round scores points.
	Speed Stackers Participants race to stack and unstack specially designed cups in pre-determined sequences as quickly as possible.
	Washer Toss Players or teams take turns throwing washers (small, metal discs) at a target box or hole, aiming to score points.

	Corn Hole Cornhole is a lawn game where players or teams toss bean bags at an inclined board with a hole, aiming to score points by landing bags on the board or through the hole
	Giant Jenga A large-scale version of the classic Jenga game, using significantly bigger blocks and creating a taller, more precarious tower.

Accessible Equipment

	Snow coach is an accessible sled that features a padded seat, safety straps, raised back support, a head rest and steel runner.
	Hippocampe is an all-terrain wheelchair that gives its rider the freedom to go anywhere and is designed to enable everyone to enjoy the great outdoors.
	Mobi Chair, Raven Haven is where the chair is located during summer months. There is over 50 feet of Mobi Mat that allows for better access to the water.

Winter Equipment

	Grips that attach to your shoes for better traction on slippery surfaces.
	Snowshoes, we offer a variety of sizes that can be loaned out!
	Kick sleds, youth and adult sleds can be loaned out!
