County of Annapolis Community Grant program 2026-2027

Looking to bring a new project, event, or facility improvement to your community? Annapolis County’s Community Grants Program provides funding to support initiatives that enhance the well-being and quality of life for residents.

If you received a grant in 2024–2025, you must submit a final report before applying again. Submit your final report here.

Who Can Apply:

Registered charities and not-for-profit organizations. One application per organization per year.

Funding Opportunities:

  • Community Facilities: Upgrade or build public spaces such as halls, parks, trails, wharves, museums, or lighthouses. Grants up to $20,000 (applicants must contribute at least 1/3 of total costs).
  • Community Projects: Support events, arts, recreation, physical activity, and social programs. Grants cover up to 50% of project costs, up to $5,000.

  • Deadline: April 1, 2026 – no exceptions.
