Human Resources Coordinator

(Full-time 12-Month Term, Pay Level 6 $76,466 - $96,368)

The County of Annapolis is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join their team for a 12-month term! This position is responsible for facilitating and managing the human resource function of the Municipality including supporting the recruitment and retention of employees, development of a performance management system, supporting employee payroll needs, leading the collective bargaining and grievance process, overseeing the development of employee performance plans and job descriptions, and regularly developing and evaluating plans for training, succession and employment development.

Qualifications:

Candidates for this position must possess as a minimum, an undergraduate degree in human resources, business, or a similar educational program coupled with a CPHR designation, or a combination of these educational requirements and lived experiences that meet these minimum requirements.

Additionally, the candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in the human resources or personnel management field, with preference given to those whose experience is directly or indirectly working with a government organization, or a combination of formal experience and lived experiences.
