Annapolis County Recreation Intern

The County of Annapolis is Accepting applications for A Recreation Intern

Term position from June 6, 2022 to August 26, 2022.

Pay rate: $16.85/hr.

Duties: Assist Recreation Coordinator with delivery, promotion and development of recreation programs and services in the County of Annapolis.

Qualifications: Preference given to those working towards a certificate, diploma, degree in a Recreation/Community Development or Kinesiology or Tourism; or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience will also be considered. Must be able to work flexible hours, have strong organizational skills, ability to work in a team and independently, ability to work well with youth and adults, use of a reliable vehicle. Knowledge in performing research, with MS Word, Excel, and social media required. A complete job description is available on the County’s website.

Successful applicants must provide a Child Abuse Registry Check and Vulnerable Sector Security Check, valid driver’s license, WHIMIS 2015 certification and First Aid / CPR.
