Employment Opportunities - Annapolis County Recreation Interns

Accepting applications for two Recreation Interns - Annapolis County and Bridgetown

Term positions from May 13, 2019 to August 30, 2019.

Pay rate: $15.93/hr.

Duties: Assist Recreation & Special Projects Officer and Recreation & Programs Officer with delivery, promotion and development of recreation programs and services in Annapolis County and the Community of Bridgetown.

Qualifications: Preference given to those working towards a certificate, diploma, degree in a Recreation/Community Development or Kinesiology or Tourism; or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience will also be considered. Must be able to work flexible hours, have strong organizational skills, ability to work in a team and independently, ability to work well with youth and adults, use of a reliable vehicle. Knowledge in Word, Excel, and social media required.

Successful applicants must provide Criminal Record Background Check, Child Abuse Registry Check or Vulnerable Sector Security Check, valid driver’s license, WHIMIS 2015 certification and First Aid / CPR.
